I'm Kara MSN, PMHNP-BC. Located in Ohio. Certified to treat both children and adults (Across The Lifespan). My goal is to provide you with the personalized attention and care you've been seeking, guiding you toward a successful life journey. With more than two decades of dedicated service as a Registered Nurse BSN. My career evolved by practicing in various settings including: Inpatient Mental Health at Cleveland Clinic, Emergency Department at University Hospital and Kaiser, the VA hospital inpatient and community services. Throughout this time I have demonstrated expertise in supporting patients through various Mental Health challenges. I completed my 1st MSN degree in Leadership and Education graduated with Honors. I went back to completed my Post-Masters Degree as a Certified Mental Health Practitioner, I graduated with Honors and became board certified by the ANCC in 2019. Over the past six years I have practiced inpatient, outpatient, residential, Community Mental Health, Addiction, and Corrections. I am dedicated to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest advancements in Mental Health by using Evidence Based Practices.
Treatment Focus
My primary focus is to assist you in understanding any barriers that might be hindering your personal growth. This involves developing and awareness of your inner strength and achieving clarity regarding your emotions and thoughts. We can achieve this by providing a neutral safe space from the comfort of your own home using a smart phone, tablet or computer device anywhere in Ohio.
*Initial visits are 60-75 minutes for Diagnostic exams and treatment plan. *Follow ups can vary every 1-3 months as needed by your provider. Your progress will be evaluated, any side effects can be discussed, and all treatments are monitored to ensure the best outcome towards your treatment goals.
Areas of focus include: Depression, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, Alcohol treatments, Bipolar Disorders.
